Melanie's work is rooted in her belief that every person has the capacity to live and lead with clarity, courage, and connection. Her path into coaching grew out of her own journey of transformation, which deepened her understanding of how people heal, grow and step into their strengths. She knows firsthand the impact of having someone walk alongside you during times of change and brings that same grounded presence to her clients.
As a Whole Person Certified Coach (WPCC), Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and Certified Trauma Informed Coach, Melanie creates supportive spaces where leaders and changemakers can pause, reflect, and discover new pathways forward. Her mission is to empower impact-driven professionals to lead with confidence, and build lives and organizations that create a positive ripple effect on the world.
Melanie calls the Pacific Northwest home, where she finds inspiration in both nature and community. She enjoys rejuvenating time outdoors, skiing, hiking and being on the water, along with creating meaningful connections, and exploring practices that bring greater joy and resilience to daily life. She encourages her clients to bring that same spirit of authenticity and wellness into their own lives and leadership

Melanie's professional journey blends coaching, facilitation, and leadership development across nonprofit, government, and private sectors. For more than 15 years as a professional coach she has worked with individuals, designed and facilitated small group reflection retreats, and led private coaching cohorts, creating environments where participants can reconnect to purpose and possibility. Her group facilitation experience includes a full-day retreat for a multi-state federal leadership team and half-day Strengths-based workshops for creative agencies, government and nonprofit leadership teams. She brings resourcefulness, curiosity, and compassion to her work, helping teams strengthen understanding, deepen collaboration, and translate insights into meaningful action.
As part of her coaching experience, Melanie worked with a Midwest-based cohort of FICGN’s FIELD program (Formerly Incarcerated Executive Leadership Development for Nonprofit Leaders), supporting participants one-on-one as they deepened their leadership potential. Melanie's approach goes beyond frameworks and tools, weaving together expertise and intuition to guide leaders beyond surface-level change into true transformation.
