Abby’s sweet spot is helping leaders assess and drive changes in organizational culture – both on the organizational level and within individual teams. She believes culture is what is created, celebrated, and allowed, and true change requires both behavioral and structural elements. Abby recently teamed with a 3-person facilitation team on a multi-year leadership culture initiative impacting over 150 managers across the organization. She designed and facilitated a series of workshops for leadership teams on prioritization, alignment and leading others during times of change. Final deliverables included a toolkit with activities for managers to lead with their teams, as well as curriculum outline for a 7-module executive leadership series. She also has experience with values refresh projects, integrating values into existing business processes and programs, and other HR program design and organizational initiatives requiring change management.
Abby also facilitates individual teams to help them align on a team culture vision and behavioral team agreements - all in service of creating a productive dynamic of working together. Variations of this work have included clarity of decision rights, articulation of team purpose and values, role clarity, and conflict resolution. Abby has a deep toolbox of interactive activities that get teams talking together, deepening trust, and ultimately increasing their effectiveness as a team. Perfect in the context of a retreat or strategic planning.
In her spare time, Abby loves to paint and stays involved with local government initiatives.
With empathy, curiosity, and a systems lens, I support leaders in building organizations that prioritize relationships and results.
