Maria Carrasquillo has over 20 years of progressive experience leading cultural competency initiatives, leadership development, organization effectiveness, executive coaching, group/team coaching, and change management efforts. Throughout her career, Maria has led and supported the development of training programs, enterprise-wide efforts, learning strategies, and special projects to achieve and sustain workforce excellence.

Being both bi-cultural and bilingual in Spanish/English, Maria strives to explore the power of improving personal performance and enhancing relationships. She has drawn on her intercultural skills to bridge gaps and successfully bring people together.

Business And Organizational Leadership Experience

Maria has over a decade of experience helping organizations strengthen leadership, improve performance, and navigate complex change. At Hillorest Children and Family Center, she designed and led a Mid-level Leadership Program focused on building core leadership skills, engaging stakeholders, and fostering inclusive cultures. She directed cross-functional initiatives to align talent development with strategic goals and coached healthcare leaders to strengthen communication, adaptability, and team cohesion in fast-paced clinical settings. At Montgomery County Public Schools, Maria served as the lead consultant for the Interactive Boundary Explorer, guiding equity-focused analysis of school diversity, utilization, and proximity. She developed inclusive community engagement strategies that encouraged broad participation and representation across racial, cultural, and economic groups. In parallel, she led strategic planning processes acress departments, focusing on metrics, performance, and accountability.

Maria has coached more than 500 leaders, including C-suite executives and senior federal staff, to enhance emotional inteligence, change readiness, and collaboration. She incorporates tools like Hogan, MBTl, and EQi to drive insight and growth. Her work in talent management has increased leadership pipeline readiness and closed succession gaps, with leadership programs that have improved team dynamics and care outoomes in education and healthcare.

Maria also partners with executives to lead high-impact change initiatives. She applies behavioral science to drive adoption, engagement, and long-term resilience. Herorganizational assessments combine data and dialogue to identify opportunities for growth, resulting in measurable gains in alignment, team performance, and key business outcomes.
